Separation Conditioned

separation conditioned

authority pushing conformity

placing children

beneath the wheel

of pressure, trauma, and competition

a forced indoctrination

against their humanity

pushing down

their voice

sensitivity

wonder

from here

psychological fear blooms

fear within the individual

and energized through the collective

it is a culture that

forms the neurosis and dysfunction

of society

this separation

this fear

a spreading cancer

that is played out in the roles

we are taught to be

into the masks

we are taught to wear

collectively ignorant

and in ignorance

destroying

warring

manipulating

Raging against nature

Raging against humanity

Raging against freedom

Raging into

shadows and storms

that swim

within the collective psyche

we call our culture

our culture

fights, rapes

and grows like a hydra

it uses its hierarchical chains

through the enslavement of the masses

Photo by Alex Kotliarskyi on Unsplash

work work work

through control, greed, and violence

to perpetuate its destructive growth

always growing

progressing

battling against

cultivated more and more food

developing more suburbs

tearing down

moe and more wild lands

from 1 billion in 1900

to 8 billion in 2020

exponentially more and more and more people

a cancerous culture

destroying anything that gets in the way

a totalitarian monoculture

an agricultural system

that kills

Photo by no one cares on Unsplash

using pesticides, herbicides

warring warring warring

against biodiversity

against wildness

against life

all the while

as its population blossoms

more food

fewer ecosystems

Photo by Pedro Lastra on Unsplash

more people

more food

fewer ecosystems

more people

and in all ways

the culture degrades

raging against

always against

grooving a forced path

forced upon the young

forcing its agenda upon

any that come upon its path

destroying any that question

or try to undermine its authority

lurking

spreading her tentacles

this is where Maya lies

Maya is the enculturated egos

we personalize

Photo by Roland Denes on Unsplash

dysfunctional

formulaic

destructive

a name called many names

its self-proclaimed visions

constructed out from

the

veil of separation

insecurities and deceptions

are constructed

designed from its composite of fear

it craves and hungers

suffering in twists and turns for millenniums

stemming into

endless bloody wars

Photo by Hasan Almasi on Unsplash

greed

and thorns of hate

blooming blind righteousness

into branching hierarchies

vying and circling

and circling

into a whirlpool of violence

it enslaves with its ideological jewels

its double-speak propaganda

its bloody guns and missiles

its fearful insatiable desires

conditioned and normalized

most want to hold on

for want of security

and comfort

though in the end

it’s self-sustaining agenda

breeds sorrow

struggle

violence

domination

bleeding into social and ecological

degradation and despair

it is the calling of the will

to blow itself

like a tempest on to the world

upon all it comes across

to make itself known

attractive

to destroy those that don’t fit into its creed

It is the refined summons

of self-division

of proclaimed analytical rationalizations

of self-imposed propaganda of ignorance

as the final creed

this culture moves toward its destruction

for it is the emblem of civilized ideologies

the conforming affairs

of obsessions and ambitions

the implementation of brutality and slavery

racism and sexism

genocide and ecocide

war and pestilence

poverty and sickness

the win-at-all-cost mentality

it is the craving for pleasure

the escape from pain

through its blind attachments

which, in the beginning

becomes the end

blooming destruction

for in its chattering obsessions

are always divided

marginalized

appearing at times

debonair, stylish, clever, arrogant

other times

ugly, greedy, murderous, deceptive, insecure

a common bond, a common pull

a bond of want, of more

more….power

fame, purpose, control

land, people, riches

spirituality

yet

it can never be satiated

in its

self held beliefs

it faithfully battles, isolates

creating mirages of synthetic meaning

for its own perpetuation

an all-consuming conquest

hell is formulated

in the constant assault

against the body, people, and the wild

it splinters people from community

community from nature

and distorts it into

polluted fractures

of a pervasive illness

Photo by Alex Diaz on Unsplash

lurking in our educational systems

children formed and molded

voices tempered

their ideas conditioned

their visions not their own

certain domains become their path

their passions and wonders

becoming

embers in the winter

of society’s discontent

their awake consciousness

lost in the edifice of the

enculturated ego-tyrant

Photo by Edwin Andrade on Unsplash

as the subtle violence

and authority

is continuously perpetuated

they lose themselves

and so continue the blindness

that lies within their elders

Photo by Hédi Benyounes on Unsplash

suffering, not health

conflict, not communion

violence, not peace

is the nature of its way
