Thank you for this succinct, interwoven, in-depth essay. It makes me wonder.. How all this hate and greed, how beliefs that create more violence come about. We are born into this hierarchal system, the USA now being the head of the dragon in terms of its intent to destroy the world for greed, in which children live under dysfunctional family and educational systems and try to do their best to find safety.

Children, see that they are separate and not safe do the best they can to navigate this. But the impact of this formulates fear. As adults, they cling to beliefs and roles that perpetuate the cycle of dysfunction both individually and collectively. And all the issues we see, seem to come back to the roots of separation and dysfunction keeping in place the hierarchal system we continuously construct.

Equity and diversity seem like a no brainer but are terrifying to people who are scared of losing their place in a hierarchy and told by leaders that this is the case. Yet in a healthy community, we would want everyone to succeed and be in health. That a healthy community would be egalitarian with no one having more power than anyone else.
