A Walk into the Quiet Immeasurable

--

The rain was in the distance, flowing and singing. The light was soft on the water as death and endings swept up the mountainsides in blazing colors. It was the Phoenix taking her last breath before releasing.

I sat and listened.

Quiet flooded throughout the now.

A few small songbirds sang while the lake was calm along its forested banks.

Finally, the rain grew near until a shower fell upon me. Ah, it was so lovely. I meandered along the path until I saw these beautiful Jerusalem artichoke wildflowers glistening and moist.

All of this was not measurable and beyond any riches. Seeing this, one sees that one needs very little, and joy and love spread like light upon all I came across, for I had no agenda nor expectation. Smiling, I walked like a dancer home.

I am a transpersonal therapist, a teacher, and love wonder. I have explored many wild places. Wholeness and love is what it is all about for me.
